Hey guys,

I'm in a little bit of shock at the moment, and my face is swollen and hurts too. I had a chance to go out with some friends, and some idiot had to ruined it for me.

It all started like this. Me and a group of friends were having a laugh at the fun fair for a night, and then this massive fight broke out. Of course, everyone wanted to see what was going on, and the fight moved around the fair, so in the end, the fair closed.

We were all then split up by a group of about 60 or 70 people. I found 2 of my friends, and we were looking for the others. Loads of people had booze, and loads of people got really drunk, and things got nasty.

I was with 2 friends and we kept looking, when this 16 year-old girl and a group of her friends came up to me fro no reason (I've never seen them before in my life) and asked for my name...I told them my name is Rose. Then the biggest of them came up to me, and said one of her friends feels really violent, and wanted to ' Box Me ' So, because i didnt want to get into any fight, I just said ' That's nice ' And walked away.

She then grabbed me by my hood of my coat and said ' Don't F*****g walk away from me, so i just told her i didnt want to start anything, she then yanked me back by my hair and told me she wanted to try on my glasses...I said no. And i started to run, but she follwed me. She then grabbed my glasses and broke them, so to prevent them from suffering any more damage, i put them in my bag.

I couldn't see where i was going, and she yanked me back by my hair again and her group circled me so my friends couldn't help me, and she started slapping me and punching me, telling me she wanted my glasses..But then my friends got through and helped me out, which gave me the chance to back away.

I'm still in a bit of shock, and then i phoned my parents to come pick me up, and my Dad did, and i was in tears of pain and shock. They did it for no reason whatsoever, and i'm still a little nervous about going out at the minute. But you have to agree with me, i did the right thing..I didn't want to start anything...And i just backed away...I was too scared to retaliate incese she had a knife on her or something, after all, she was drunk.

Still, i got loads of hugs from friends, telling me it will be alright, but i'm still pretty scared. I sound like a complete coward don't i?? And to top it all off, I'm ill! Oh well, i just wish that people wouldn't get into fights for the sake of it....Right? Anyways, thanks for reading, i kust need to get it off my chest.
